City is Committed to Give Optimal Dukcapil Services and Free of Illegal Levies

Jakarta Government through Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency is committed to ensure all population and civil registration services in Jakarta are free of charge.

However, if there are still any officer who asks for levies, please report to us immediately

Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Acting Head (Plt), Budi Awaludin stated, apart of free services, his side wanted to help Jakarta Government to realize good governance and clean government. Thus residents who need Dukcapil services are also prohibited from giving tips to officers.

"I believe our officers on the field have carried out their duties with full mandate. However, if there are still any officer who asks for levies, please report to us immediately," he asserted, Saturday (4/17).

He explained that Dukcapil officers always doing their best thus population and civil registration services given to a resident can be completed in a day. In fact, service can be completed in an hour, or even in minutes if only the applicants have fulfilled all required documents.

"Every service counter at Dukcapil Agency and Sub-agencies have been attached with slogan of 'Free Service, Stop Gratification' and it is prohibited to give anything to officers," he conveyed.

 

Currently, Jakarta Dukcapil Agency also provides various facilities for residents who need population and civil registration documents through Alpukat Betawi service application which is acronym for Direct Access to Fast and Accurate Population Document Services.

"Almost all population services are provided in this application, including that related to birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, request for arrival, request for transfer, KIA printing, e-ID card (e-KTP), family card, and changes to personal data," he said.
